Annual Club Picnic - Arroyo Verde Park Aug 28, 2011

Saddle up the Stangs and head on over to Arroyo Verde Park for the Tri-County Mustang Club Annual Club Picnic! (Members only)

This Sunday - August 28th. Starting with a Cruise from the corner of Mills at Main Streets in the parking lot, we'll cruise together to Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura.

We'll arrive at the park around 11:30am and will stay 'til to whenever

• Bring a pot-luck dish
• Bring your own plates and utensils
• And Bring a big appetite!
  ‘cause we’re cookin’ Tri-tip just for you
  Soda is also provided by club (no charge)

Other handy hints:

• Bring folding chairs
• Sun screen / hats
• Camera
• Games, Frisbees, or something to keep "us" kids busy

NOTE: There is a $2.00 parking fee on weekends.

At a total of 132 acres of relatively undeveloped land nestled along the foothills, this park offers an enormous 14 acre stretch of grassy picnic area, as well as two children's play areas, individual and group picnic and barbecue areas and several miles of hiking trails that snake back into canyons. The park also features a nature center and restrooms.

Directions:
From the 101, take the Seaward exit and turn away from the Ocean. Seaward will dead-end on Foothill Road. Turn right. Drive until you see the park on your left. It will be at the end of Day Road.
